On March 18th, 2025, Annie Grace Forrester aged 93 went to her heavenly home at her granddaughter’s residence in Philadelphia, MS. She was born March 9th, 1932 to the late William Franklin White and Maude Ann McClellan White in Pheba, MS. Annie Grace was a devout Christian woman who loved all she considered family. After graduating from Pheba high school, she married James Anderson and had two children, Brenda Anderson Brooks and James Wesley Anderson. After the death of her husband, she went on to marry Billie Saline Salmon, who she met in Detroit, MI, while she was a waitress at a café dinner. She gave birth to the late Robert Lynn Salmon and Ronald FranklinSalmon, Micheal Lynn Salmon, and Joseph Bryan Salmon. Annie Grace worked as a nursing assistant at the Michigan hospital taking care of infants in the nursery until she moved back to West Point, MS. She worked at B&W as a welder for many years until retirement. It was at church that she reconnected with her high school sweetheart Billy Wayne Forrester and married him March 28th, 1998, at Lone Oak Baptist Church. She spent the rest of her days traveling with her husband until his untimely death in 2006. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and family whenever she could, tendingto her flower beds and going camping in her spare time. Annie Grace loved her family and the Lord. She was at church whenever she was able and prayed daily for her family and friends. She leaves behind 3 sons Ronald Salmon (Stacey) of Indiana, Micheal Salmon (the late Bonnie) of West Point and Joseph Salmon (Sharon) of West Point, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, James Anderson, Billie Salmon; Billy Forrester; daughter, Brenda Anderson Brooks; 2 sons: Robert Salmon, James Anderson, 5 brothers: Jack White, Billy White, Charles White, Harold White, David White, and 1 sister: Ellen Doris White Webber.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Brandon Bates officiating. Interment will follow in Pheba Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Salmon, Joseph Salmon, Ricky Parker, Charles Coney, Triston McCamey, Curt Rollings. Honorary pallbearers are Bubba White, Danny White, Jim Montgomery. Visitation with family and friends will be 10-11 AM Saturday at the church.
