He made his home in West Point and was a dedicated employee of Bryan Foods for 34 years-- earning the coveted President's Award for Fiscal Year 1989. After his retirement from Bryan Foods, he was able to embrace his passion for antique furniture. Arlon and his wife, Emily, opened Windmill Antiques in West Point in 2001 and closed the business December 28, 2013. Arlon spent much of his time researching antiques and building relationships with his customers.
Arlon was a man of integrity who put others before himself. He planned annual events for both family and friends - which always included great food - as he recognized the importance of staying connected. Arlon was an avid Ole Miss fan and enjoyed traveling to football games to support the Rebels. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren—Lucas and Sawyer—whom he loved dearly. Some of his greatest joy came from playing with them and being their Pop Pop.
