Barbara Pilkilton Alsobrooks

Barbara Ann Pilkilton Alsobrooks passed away Friday October 27, 2017 at NMMC-West Point  at the age of 67. She was born March 16, 1950 in Cherokee, AL to the late Beatrice and Walter Pilkilton. She was an LPN and worked as a nurse for several years.

Funeral Service will be held at 3 PM Tuesday October 31, 2017 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Zane Parker officiating. Visitation will be 1-3 PM Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Hancock, Kyle Gordon, Taylor Simmons, Joseph A. Alsobrooks, Clifton Laster, Brian Staten. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Lummus, Jeffery Mulkey, Duston Jennings.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph H. Alsobrooks of West Point; son, Joseph J. Alsobrooks of West Point; daughter, April LeAnn Edwards of West Point; brothers, Billy Pilkilton, Marty Pilkilton, David Pilkilton, Jimmy Pilkilton, Dwight Pilkilton all of AL; sisters, Lena Jones, Wanda Sprague of AL; 5 grandchildren, Taylor Simmons, Joseph A. Alsobrooks, Courtney Simmons, Madison Alsobrooks, Juanice Edwards; 2 great grandchildren, Remington Simmons, Hunter Neal.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Thomas Anthony Alsobrooks; brother, Donald Pilkilton; sisters, Estelle Dees, Ida Corsbie, Helen Bolden, Dorothy Liles.
