Mrs. Barbara Anne McLemore, preceded in death by husband James E. McLemore, passed into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on September 4, 2021. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Cedar Bluff, Mississippi, for friends and family. She was born on January 25, 1936 to Frank D. and Elma Ivy Coleman of West Point, Mississippi. She was a graduate of West Point High School and married the love of her life, James McLemore, with whom she raised four daughters. She enjoyed music, swimming, reading, and studying and reading the Bible. She loved spending time with what became her very large family, serving, loving and praying for them diligently. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and former member of the First Christian Church, both of West Point, Mississippi. She was a Sunday School teacher for many years, and participated or led women’s groups and bible studies. She was an excellent cook and homemaker, filling the house with love, beauty and good smells. She is survived by her sister, Martha Ivy Bivens of West Point; her daughter Cheryl (Frank) Kittle of Dickinson,Texas and grandchildren Jonathan (Sarah) Kittle and Abby (Jonathan)Yonley; her daughter Donna (Lee) Davis of Jackson, Alabama ,and grandchildren Danielle (David) Brod, Elliott (Meagan) Davis, Joshua (Courtney) Davis, Jeremy (Courtney) Davis, Joel (Avery) Davis, Ruth (Trent) Ricks, Caleb (Aubrey) Davis, Hannah (Christian) Dodd, Sarah (David) Meredith, and Nathan Davis; her daughter Jan (Carroll) Little of Corinth, Mississippi and grandchildren Kimberly (Dalton) McCaffery, Sarah (Tony) Antonelli, Kenny (Stacey) Little, and Valerie (Zach) Batcho; and by her daughter Gail McLemore of West Point, Mississippi. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
