Beatrice Bennett Williams

Beatrice ‘Bea’ Bennett Williams passed away Monday September 24, 2018 at OCH Regional Medical Center at the age of 90. She was born November 14, 1927 to the late Ventrice Montgomery and Quay Alvin Reid. She worked at Bryan Foods for many years. She loved gardening and her flowers.                              

Funeral service will be 2 PM Friday September 28, 2018 at Robinson Chapel with Reverend Jerry Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Pheba Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy McKee, Joey Wright, Marion Johnson, Kim Thompson, Wayne Bennett, Corey Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be her friends in Pheba and Cedar Bluff.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home.

She is survived by her four sons, Billy Bennett (Evelyn) of West Point, Larry Bennett (Peggy) of Sparta, John A. Bennett (Janice) of TX, James Bennett (Kathy) of Cedar Bluff; two daughters, Dorothy McCall of GA, Janice Anderson (Charlie) of South Carolina; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; special pup ‘Maggie’

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, John Bennett and Thomas Williams; son, Robert Bennett; brothers, Waymond Reid and Alvin Reid.
