Bill F. Simmons passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Dugan Memorial Home in West point at the age of 85. He was born April 21, 1930 to the late Marshall and Jewell Coggins Simmons. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Funeral Services will be at 11 AM Friday November 6, 2015 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Eddie Brock officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Wyatt Pumphrey, Wes Pumphrey, Brian Mackey, Mickey Lewis, Les Pollard, Tim Golson, Katie Lewis, Missy Stennett. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Robert Jones, Jr., Bill Reid, Jimmy Littlefield, Leonard Dichiara, Ray Helfrich, Billy Buck Staggers, Dr. Ed Miller & staff, NMMC-West Point staff, Dugan staff, Tin Lizzie coffee group, members of Siloam United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Earline Simmons of West Point; son, Randy Simmons (Joann) of West Point; daughter, Sherri Pumphrey (Ray) of West Point; sister-in-law, Kay B. Reid (Bill) of West Point; 5 grandchildren, Wyatt Pumphrey (Lacie), Wes Pumphrey (Katie), Katie Lewis (Mickey), Leslie Jones (Robert), Brian Mackey (Freda); 5 great grandchildren, Marshall Lewis, Katelyn Lewis, Addison Jones, Bauer Jones, Carson Pumphrey; several cousins, nieces and friends.
