C. M. Miller

C. M. Miller passed away Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his residence at the age of 92. He was born July 20, 1928 to the late John Morris and Bonnie Rowe Nichols Miller. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he joined as a kid. He served in the United States Air Force for a couple years then he went to work for Bryan Foods where he was VP of Finance for 38 years. He was a member of the Barton Ferry Hunting Club and Unit 100 Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He is survived by his wife, Ann Phillips Miller and his son, C. M. Miller, Jr, both of West Point. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers and 4 sisters. A memorial graveside service will be 2 PM Wednesday February 3, 2021 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Darion Duckworth and Gary Dedeaux officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Bruff Sanders, Bud Tumlinson, Frank Wade, Ted Triplett, John Fulgham, Burt Allen, Joe Taggart, James Sumner, Lynn Horton, Mitchel Rish, Gary Dedeaux, Mike Pearson, members of Unit 100 Volunteer Fire Department, members of Barton Ferry Hunting Club. Family will visit with friends 1:15-2 PM Wednesday at the cemetery. Memorials may be made to West Point/Clay County Animal Shelter 5122 Old Tibbee Rd.
