Dot Steadman

Dorothy Alice “Dot” Steadman passed away Wednesday August 17, 2016 at NMMC-Tupelo at the age of 86. She was born January 6, 1930 to the late Annie and Dee Johnson. She was a member of First Baptist Church and she worked for many years at First National Bank as a bank teller. Memorial Service will be Saturday August 20, 2016 at 4 PM at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Dale Funderburg officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Joey Michel, Gary Duncan, Doug Wood, Hester Smith, Charlie Miller, and Neal Myers. Visitation will be Saturday from 3-4 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband, Mac Steadman of West Point; sons, Larry Steadman (Teresa) of Carrollton, GA, Mike Steadman (Lynda) of Byram, MS; 3 grandchildren, Shawn Steadman (Allison) of Florence, SC, Whitney May (Jason) of Carrollton, GA, Lindsey Townsend (Tim) of Madison; 3 great-grandchildren, Meredith May, Ross May, Harper Townsend. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother, David Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Alzheimer’s Association 196 Charmant Dr. Suite 4 Ridgeland, MS 39157.
