Earline Simmons

Earline B Simmons passed away on July 18, 2023 at Waverly Care Home at the age of 91. She was born September 17, 1931 to the late Robert Oren Bean and Essie Blankenship Bean. She was a member of Siloam Methodist Church and she enjoyed her flowers and she loved gardening. 

She is survived by her son, Randy Simmons (Joanne); her daughter, Sherri Pumphrey (Ray); sister, Kay Reid (Bill) all of West Point; niece, Missy Stennett (Bill); great niece, Reid; 5 grandchildren, Katie Simmons Lewis (Mickey), Leslie Jones, Brian Mackey (Freda), Wyatt Pumphrey (Lacie), Wes Pumphrey (Katie); 8 greatgrandchildren, Katelyn Lewis, Marshall Lewis, Addison Jones, Bower Jones, Carson Pumphrey, Cooper Pumphrey, Samuel Pumphrey, Lucy Pumphrey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Bill F. Simmons.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday July 20, 2023 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Raleigh Richter officiating. Interment will follow in Palestine Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Wyatt Pumphrey, Wes Pumphrey, Tim Golson, Brian Mackey, Mickey Lewis, C B Perry. Honorary pallbearers are Waverly Care Home staff, Enhabit Hospice, Donna McDonald, Loretta Johnson, Lori Chism, Janette Smith, Carol Haughton. Visitation will be 1-2 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home.
