Elinor Ida Whitehead

Elinor Whitehead passed away Saturday May 28, 2022 at Dugan Memorial Home at the age of 79. She was born April 8, 1943, in Germany to the late Martin Filke and Ida Schunke. She was a member of Riverside Chapel Baptist Church and enjoyed painting and growing flowers and she loved to go camping.   

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Sallee officiating. Visitation will be 12:30-2 PM on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Bethesda Cemetery, Crawford, MS. Serving as pallbearers will be Ethan Duncan, Andy Danovsky, Daniel Coggins, Eric Mitchell, Norman Nevels, Randy Mitchell. Honorary pallbearer is her special caregiver, Brenda McQuiller.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Danovsky (Andy), three sisters, Helga Siebenhorn of Germany, Traudl Mitchell of Brandon, MS, Renate Payne of Carrollton, TX, two grandchildren, Jessica Duncan (Eathan) of West Point, Daniel Coggins (Rayben) of West Point, two great-grandchildren, Addison Tucker Duncan and Cash Martin Coggins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charles Whitehead; and one sister, Kiren Filke.
