Georgianna McClure

Georgianna McClure passed away Sunday April 24, 2016 NMMC-West Point at the age of 94. She was born April 19, 1922 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Georgia Anna Bozell and Herbert B. Converse. She moved to West Point on July 4, 1938 and married Walter Raymond McClure, Jr. on May 28, 1940. She was a member of the First Christian Church and she ran Teen Town for several years. Funeral Services will be Wednesday April 27, 2016 at 3 PM at Robinson Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Robby McClure, Scott McClure, Jonathan McClure, Justin McClure, Jacob McClure, Matthew McClure, Charles Vizgard, Thomas Clay. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1-3 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. She is survived by her sons, Walter Raymond McClure, III of West Point, Robert Lee McClure (Barbara) of Meridian, John Benjamin McClure (Robin) of West Point, Doug A. McClure of Ocean Springs; sister, Eleanor Craven of San Antonio, TX; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 5 sisters; 3 brothers; grandson, Shayne McClure; great granddaughters, Carson Leigh McClure, Lauren Elizabeth McClure.
