Greely Ray Nash passed away Tuesday January 22, 2019 at Monroe Regional Hospital at the age of 91. He was born December 24, 1927 in Monroe County to the late Bessie Farley and Thomas Balvin Nash. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He graduated from Ole Miss with a degree in pharmacy. He was a pharmacist for almost 50 years and the owner of Rose Drug Store for 46 years.
Funeral service will be 2 PM Thursday January 24, 2019 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Dale Funderburg officiating. A private burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Williams, Joey and Faye Michel. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Quay Nash of West Point; son, Randy Nash (Leslie) of West Point; daughter, Connie Hudson (Gary) of West Point; sister, Mary Joe Minich of Amory; 6 grandchildren, Jason Hudson, Jacob Hudson, Jim Hudson, Mary Cathrine Jones, Chase Nash, Sara Nash; 6 great grandchildren.
