Herby Pearson

Herbert Stanley “Herby” Pearson passed away Friday May 22, 2020 at NMMC-West Point at the age of 62. He was born September 21, 1957 in West Point to Burlaleen Hester and the late George Pearson. He retired from B&W and then worked for the City of West Point for several years. He was an active member of Kairos Outside of Northern MS. He was named ‘friendliest man in West Point’ in 2019. Herby was an Eagle Scout and an avid Ole Miss fan. A private family memorial service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery. Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. He is survived by his mother, Burlaleen Pearson of West Point; sisters, Denice Williams (Jimmy) of Ethelsville, AL, Debra Wittington (Sam) of West Point; niece, Candice Fann; nephews, Parrish Williams, Jason Williams, Tanner Williams, Marcus Lavender; great nieces, Aubrey Williams, Zoey Lavender; great nephews, Will Williams, Parker Williams, Bill Travis Williams, Cole Fann, Logan Fann, Kaleb Fann. He was preceded in death by his father, George Pearson. Memorials can be made to Kairos Outside of Northern MS PO Box 1093 Columbus, MS 39703.
