Robinson Funeral Home PO Box 732~635 E Broad St. West Point, Mississippi 39773 (662)494-8049 fax494-6782 Obit For James "Curry" Crowson James "Curry" Crowson of Cedar Bluff, passed away Sunday September 18, 2011 at Oktibbeha County Hospital at the age of 89. He was born on July 6, 1922 in Eupora, MS to the late Arnold Crowson and Monnie Kyle. He attended Hebron Baptist Church and was retired from the State Highway Department. He was also a veteran of the Navy where he served in WWII. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday September 21, 2011 at Hebron Baptist Church with the Rev. R.C. Bryan officiating and Rev. Andy Parrish assisting. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Mitchell, Mike Blakeney, Donald Watson, Jon Hamilton, James Dill, & Frank Walker. Visitation will be Tuesday September 20, 2011 from 5-7 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. He is survived by a son, Jimmy Crowson of Cedar Bluff, Ms; 3 daughters, Linda Wellons of Cedar Bluff, Pam Hamilton of Pace, Fl, & Angela Crowson of Springfield, Mo; 2 sisters, Lucille Sosnoski of Salem, Ma, & Jean Hodges of Olive Branch, Ms.; 3 grandchildren, Sean Fama, Christian Fama, and Nicole Fama, 5 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Montell Crowson. Memorials may be made to the Hebron Cemetery Fund 6230 Henryville Rd. Pheba, Ms 39755.
