James Harmon

James Clyde 'Jim' Harmon of Corinth, formerly of West Point passed away on July 25, 2012 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth at the age of 62. He was born March 2, 1950 in West Point to Jesse Harmon and the late Addine Elliott Harmon. He was a graduate of West Point High School Class of 1968. He was employed with Bryan Foods for 27 years and currently drove a truck for Elliott Trucking Co. Funeral services will be Saturday July 28, 2012 at 3 PM at Robinson Chapel with the Rev. Roy Myers officiating. Burial will be in West Point Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday 1 PM to service time at Robinson Funeral Home. Classmates from the class of 1968 will serve as pallbearers. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Harmon of Corinth; his father, Jesse Williams Harmon of West Point; son, James Lyle Harmon of St. Mary's, PA; daughter, Leigh Harmon Harpole of Columbus, MS; brother, Steve Harmon of Columbia, MS; sister, Liz Davis of Amory; 1 grandchild, Gabe Harpole; six nieces and nephews.
