James Todd Killingsworth went to heaven on Thursday, December 10, 2015, at St. Dominic Hospital. Todd was born September 19, 1974, in Andalusia, Alabama to Joan Sumler and Gene Killingsworth. He graduated from Oak Hill Academy in West Point and the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. He was employed by Ideal Chemical Company.
Todd enjoyed helping coach his children’s sports teams, golfing, hunting, and especially watching Alabama football. He was known by his friends and family for his gentleness, kindness, wit, and his love of his family.
Survivors include his wife, Jama Davis Killingsworth; son James Davis Killingsworth; daughter Katherine Maddox Killingsworth, all of Brandon; parents, Gene and Joan Killingsworth of Brandon; brothers Brett (Melissa) Killingsworth; Ryan (Anna) Killingsworth; niece Kate Killingsworth; nephew Camden Killingsworth, all of Madison.
A memorial service to celebrate Todd’s life is scheduled for 11:00 on Saturday, December 12, at First Baptist Church in West Point with visitation beginning at 10:00 at the church. Robinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
