Jean Montgomery

Elois Jean Montgomery passed away Saturday July 8, 2017 at West Point Community Living Center at the age of 87. She was born September 17, 1929 in Houston, MS to the late Estelle Gann and Robert Lee Doss. She graduated from Egypt High School as Valedictorian. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and she was a book keeper for Clay County Co-Op for 50 years.

Funeral services will be Monday July 10, 2017 at 2 PM at Robinson Chapel with Dr. James Towery officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 1-2 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Millard, John Elliott, Charles Brand, Roy Doss, co-workers at the Co-Op, members of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Randy Montgomery of West Point; Daughter, Gail Harrison of Collierville, TN; 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph Montgomery; sister, Doris Shelton; brother-in-law, Roy Shelton.

Memorials may be made to charity of donor’s choice.
