Joseph Baker

Joseph Edward Baker, 74, of Chesapeake, VA passed away on Thursday June 26, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Baker was born on August 4, 1939 to the late Edward and Julia Kelly Baker in Brooklyn, NY. He served in the US Navy and was a Chemical Engineer. He is survived by his wife Dr. Susan Mack Baker of Chesapeake, VA, a son Dr. Andrew Baker (Marlene) of Chesapeake, VA, two daughters Angela Elliott (Joseph) West Point and Ashley Dauzat (Joseph) of West Point, and one brother Robert Baker of Ohio. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren. Graveside service for Mr. Baker will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday June 28, 2014 at Palo Alto Cemetery with Rev. Kirby Lloyd officiating. Pallbearers will be John Elliott, Jack Elliott, Joe Elliott, Daniel Elliott, Billy Buck Staggers, and Joe Dauzat. Burial will be in Palo Alto Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday June 28, 2014 from 12:00 PM till 1:30 PM at Robinson Funeral Home in West Point. Friends may leave an online condolence at robinsonfh.net.
