Josephine Johnson

Josephine Alesia Johnson of West Point passed away on Sunday January 8, 2012 at West Point Community Living Center at the age of 87. She was born May 15, 1924 in Gallatin, TN to the late Robbie Sullivan and Herman Southern. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Tuesday January 10, 2012 at 1 PM at Robinson Chapel with the Dr. James Towery officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in West Point. Visitation will be Monday January 9, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Steven Johnson, Stephen Harpole, Will Harpole, Charlie Dichiara, Leonard Dichiara, Johnathan Edwards. Honorary pallbearers will be Jake Harpole. She is survived by a son, Charles Alan Johnson of West Point; daughter, Joann Johnson of Meridian; 2 grandchildren, Danah Susan Harpole, Alan Steven Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Johnson; sister, Wilma Southern Stabler.
