Kenneth Tompkins Owens passed away on Friday May 2, 2014 at NMMC-West Point at the age of 22. He was born on May 30, 1991 in West Point. He worked for the city of West Point and was a Baptist. Services for will be at 2 PM Tuesday May 6, 2014 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Terry Butler and Rev. Duran Palmertree officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Jolly Joseph Tompkins, Anthony Barnhill, Terry Barnhill, James Counts, Jr., Jason Barnhill, Josh Norton. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Fair, Boyd O' Brian, Jeremy Harpole, Johnny O'Brian, ER Staff at NMMC-West Point. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Monday May 5, 2014 at Robinson Funeral Home. He is survived by his mother, Robin Denise Jolly of Cedar Bluff; father, Tracy Joe Owens of AL, sons, Dallas Lee Neeley of Arab, AL, AAden Lee James Owens of West Point; brothers, David Jolly of Cedar Bluff, Joseph Tompkins of Cedar Bluff, Timothy Alan Cryer of Al; sisters, Stephanie Cryer and Lailani Cryer both of Arab, AL; grandmother, Margie Holland of Kilmichael, grandfather, Robert Tomkins of Morton; grandparents, Lorene & Billy Brooks; aunt and uncle who he was raised by, Timothy & Kay Cryer of Arab, AL; many aunts & uncles and numerous nieces & nephews.
