L. J. Warren

L.J. Warren passed away Monday January 20, 2020 at his residence in Tibbee at the age of 83. He was born October 8, 1936 in Thaxton, MS to the late Shirley Dalton Warren and Vera May Todd. Mr. Warren was a general contractor and a farmer for many years and loved to hunt and fish. Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday January 22, 2019 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Dale Funderburg officiating. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home. A private burial will be in Warren Family Cemetery. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. He is survived by sons: Louis Warren (Lynn) of Fayetteville KY, Terry Warren (Tammy) of West Point, daughters Katherine Beatty of West Point, Libby Rhea (Red) of West Point, Rita Warren of Prattville, AL, Nita Finch (Dewayne) of West Point, Sherry Warren of Oxford; brother, Daryl Warren of Oregon and sister, Darathy Denton (Bill) of Oxford; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lucy Warren; son Willie Jay Warren; 6 brothers and 1 sister; and great grandson, Fletcher Hicks.
