Leon Carroll Provencher, 83, of West Point passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Dugan Memorial Home. He was born in Vermont on March 12, 1931 to the late Grace Bennett and Romeo Provencher. He retired from the US Navy where he was a Chief Aviation Store Keeper. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of West Point.
Services will be Sunday January 25, 2015 at 2 PM at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Jeff Shannon officiating. Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Donahoo, Tony Rosetti, Bill MacLean, Tommy Henley, Bucky Kellogg. Honorary pallbearers will be Liam Mathis, Alex Provencher, Colt Murphy, Michael Provencher. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-7 PM at Robinson Funeral Home.
He is survived by, son Alan Provencher of Olympia, WA; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathryn Provencher; and a daughter, Lucy Lippincott.
