Marcell Blankenship

Mary Marcell Blankenship passed away Tuesday December 11, 2018 at Dugan Memorial Home at the age of 84. She was born October 21, 1934 to the late Rosie Oletha Martin and Thomas Jefferson Forrester. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church in West Point.                          

Funeral service will be 2 PM Friday December 14, 2018 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Dwight Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ryan Weston, Steven Brown, Sean Brown, Ron Horner, Sam White, Runal White. Honorary pallbearers will be Dugan Memorial Home Staff, and Sanctuary Hospice. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Lee Blankenship of West Point; son, Michael Blankenship of West Point; daughters, Sharon Leigh Bethany (Frank) of Bartlett, TN, Rosemary Brown (Steve) of West Point; brother Glen Forrester of Pheba; sister, Joann White of West Point; 4 grandchildren, Mandi Wilkerson, Kelly Bethany, Tyler Weston, Ryan Weston; 6 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, David Forrester and Billy Forrester.
