Martha Nell Huffman passed away on Friday January 17, 2014 at her home in West Point at the age of 74. She was born on March 14, 1939 in Reform, MS to the late Joseph Henry Harrison Cooper and Lillie Lou Crick Weaver. She was co-owner of Huffman oil company where she was very active in the family business for 40 years. She was also an avid seamstress, enjoyed reading, and loved yard sales.
Funeral Service for Mrs. Huffman will be Sunday January 19, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-3 PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers include: Ricky Joe Inman, Larry Henley, Bobby Huffman, Shane Elliott, Scott Cooper, Jacob Huffman, Joseph Huffman, and Jeff Huffman. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Richard Hendrick, Dr. Deanna White, Dr. Paul Perry, Dr. Ray Lacey, Billy Smith, Boyd Butler, NMMC Home Health and Hospice Services, and Charles Hill, Rocky Hudson, Claude McKee.
Mrs. Huffman is survived by two daughters Cyndi Huffman of West Point, and Debi Shelton (Charles) of West Point, three God Children: Ruby Rawl (Doug) of Lexington, SC, and Kimberlee Link of Lexington, SC, and Marc Johnston of Lexington, SC; four brothers Jimmie Cooper (Freda) of Clarkston, Riley Cooper (Mary) of Eupora, Kenneth Cooper (Barbara) of Eupora, and Rodney Cooper (Myrtle) of Eupora; and one sister Alice Coburn of West Point. She is also survived by three grandchildren Stacey-Ann Hudson, Bubba Hudson, and Samantha Hudson; and one great grandchild Lillie Wilkinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William C. Huffman; a sister Jessie Wise, and a brother Bobby Cooper.
