Mary Bishop

Mary Kathryn Nation Bishop of West Point passed away Tuesday November 15, 2011 at NMMC-Tupelo at the age of 64. She was born February 20, 1947 in Starkville to the late Thomas and Delma Stone Nation. She was a member of West Point Church of God and a retired dispatcher from the West Point police dept. Funeral services will be held Friday November 18, 2011 at11 AM at West Point Church of God with Rev. Al Stockton officiating. Burial will follow in Clarkston Cemetery in Webster County. Serving as pallbearers will be Avery Cook, Cleve Carroll, Patrick Culley, Jeremy Dubois, Mark Stafford, Johnny Hancock. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. The body will lie in state Friday at the church 1 hour before service time. She is survived by son, Christopher Fox (Pamela) of West Point; daughters, Andrea Fox Brooks (Malcolm) of West Point, Norma Fox Earnest of Joplin, MO, Angela Kathryn Fox of West Point; brother, Bobby Eugene Nation of Jacksonville, AR; four grandchildren, Krysta Mendoza, Ryan Mendoza, Miranda Brooks, Kendall Fox. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Thomas Nation.
