Mike Hall

Michael Hall, beloved son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 67 on January 31, 2024, at UAB – UAB-Birmingham due to complications of pancreatic cancer. He was a kind-hearted individual whose presence brightened the lives of all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Born to Vernell Hamilton and the late James Ralph Hall, Mike was raised in a loving and nurturing environment. His father, James Ralph Hall, preceded him in death. Mike's family was always at the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

He is survived by his mother Vernell Hamilton of Lenoir City, TN; brother, Jimmy Hall (Nancy) of West Point, sister, Carol Britt (Billy) of Calhoun, Kentucky; daughter Shauna Cliett (Clark) of West Point; son, Marc Hall (Ashley) of West Point, 6 grandchildren, Justice Blakeney, Sarah Cliett, Chandler Cliett, Collin Hall, Levi Hall, and James “Jimmy” Hall.

In addition to his devotion to family, Mike had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him immense pleasure. Mike had a natural talent for painting and bodywork and was frequently seen working on cars with meticulous attention to detail. The satisfaction he gained from transforming a vehicle into a work of art was unparalleled. Furthermore, Mike found solace in the great outdoors, often spending his time fishing, and relishing the beauty of nature.

Mike's warm heart, kind soul, and generous nature touched the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will forever be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his remarkable skills, and his zest for life.

A  graveside service will be held 3 PM Thursday, February 8, 2024 at  Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Bates officiating.  In honor of his memory, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital PO Box 1000 Department 42 Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
