Mike Meeks

Floyd Michael Meeks, known as Mike to family and friends, passed away Wednesday August 31, 2022 at the age of 68. He was born February 16, 1954 in Corinth, MS to Floyd Andrew Meeks and Maxine Ruth Haley Meeks. He was a maintenance engineer for Weyerhaeuser for many years.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Friday September 2, 2022 at Robinson Chapel with Mr. V. J. Trolio and Mr. Glen Brown officiating. Visitation will be 1-2 PM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be James Michael Peavy, John Cunningham, Seth Cunningham, Boston Cunningham, Hatcher Cunningham, Todd Glusenkamp. Honorary pallbearers are Charlie Miller, Larry Steadman, Brian Hardin, Buddy Vance, C B Thompson, David Fabacher.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Meeks of West Point, daughters, Heather Cunningham (John) of West Point, Dr. Sally Kate Scroggs of Lake Charles, LA; parents, Floyd and Maxine Ruth Meeks of Corinth; sisters, Sondra Dingler (Chuck) of Corinth, Cindy Condra (Jeff) of Corinth; grandchildren, James Michael Peavy (Sarah Ray Griffin), Ella Scroggs, Betsy Scroggs, Seth Cunningham, Boston Cunningham, Hatcher Cunningham.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bo Meeks.
