Minnie Fields

Minnie Dora Fields passed away November 5, 2021 at her residence at the age of 86. She was born November 18, 1934 to the late Bennie Mae Evans and Leon L Mitchell. She worked as a secretary for TVA for many years, then worked in the cheese office at MSU. She was a good mother and loved her grandkids. She is survived by her son, Jimmy Fields (Janet) of Madison, AL; daughter, Jeannie Fields of West Point; grandchild, Travis Swindle; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Fields; a granddaughter, Alexis ‘Lexi’ Delaney Swindle; a sister, Elon Phillips. A graveside service will be 1 PM Wednesday November 10, 2021 at Coleman Cemetery in McAdams with Rev. Dale Funderburg officiating. Visitation with family and friends will be 9-10 AM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home.
