Nancy Allen Weems

Nancy Allen Weems passed away Thursday October 31, 2019 at her residence in Memphis at the age of 73. She was born March 25, 1946 in Monticello, MS to the late Frank and Barbara Barns Speetjens. She was a member of River Oaks Presbyterian Church in Germantown and she worked as an RN for many years                              

Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 PM on November 3, 2019 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Todd Matocha officiating. Visitation will be 1:30 -2:30 PM on Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Read, David Read, Mark Read, Belk Weems, Ralph Weems, and Paul Gentry. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ford Williams and Amedisys Hospice.

She is survived by her husband, John Ross Weems of 48 Years; Daughter Peggy Weems Read (Stephen) of Collierville, TN; Brothers Frank “Buzz” Streetjens Hawaii (Adele), Joseph ”Joe” Streetjens (Cynthia) of Madison, John Streetjens of Hawaii (Melissa), James ”Jimmy” Streetjens, Kenneth “Kenny” Streetjens of Fairhope, Al;  Sisters Rosemarie “Ree” Herchede (Rich) of West Point and Patricia ”Pat” Cook (Ray) Florida; Grandson, David Ross Read and Granddaughter Abigail Kathleen Read.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
