Nora Idell Ward

Nora Idell Ward passed away January 7, 2017 at Sanctuary Hospice House at the age of 91. She was born July 20, 1925 to the late Nora Mae McDade and Walter W. Bennett. She was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church of West Point. Funeral Service will be Tuesday January 10, 2017 at 11 AM at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Tim Tutor officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Carl Kelly, Chad Gaston, Ben Tate, Jonathan Ward, Lee Eaton, Tommy Peoples. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Ken Harvey, staff at Sanctuary Hospice House. Visitation will be Monday 5-7 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. She is survived by her son, Johnny Ward (Jackie) of Pheba; daughter, Donna Vaughn (Mike) of Plantersville; sister, Sue McQuary of Sparta; 4 grandchildren, Christie Tate (Ben), Chad Gaston (Jennifer), Jonathan Ward (Jenna), Lee Eaton (Christy); 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, A. J. Ward; grandson, Cody Ward; 3 brothers; 8 sisters. Memorials may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House 5159 Hwy 6 Tupelo, MS 38801.
