Pat Kelly

Patricia D. Kelly passed away in her home on March 6, 2022. A graveside service will be held Monday March 7 at 3:00 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Hatfield officiating. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vester Daffron and Martha Ruth Duggan; husband, Walker Logan Kelly; a son, Anthony Kelly; and her brother Billy Wayne Daffron. She is survived by two daughters, Debi K. Atkins (Gary) of Columbus, MS, Donna K. Kelly of Leawood, KS a granddaughter, Kelly Elizabeth Brigham of Tuscaloosa, AL and a sister Doris D. Mansfield of Mandeville, LA as well as several nieces and nephews. A graduate of New Hope High School, she attended Mississippi University for Women. She enjoyed writing the society page for The Daily Times Leader and her time as a licensed real estate agent. Patricia, a Baptist, loved God, her family, her friends, gardening and playing bridge. She was very active in the First Baptist Church and often assisted with Vacation Bible School. We are very grateful to the late Dr. Ed Miller for the extraordinary care he provided along with his wonderful staff. A special thanks to the compassionate staff of NMMC Hospice. Serving as pallbearers are Gary Atkins of Columbus, MS, Tim O’Bryant of New Hope, MS and Robbie Robinson, Steven Moore, Chad Hathcock and Mike Farr of West Point, MS. Honorary pallbearers are Ashley Harpole and Rebecca Stanford. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice or to NMMC Hospice, 422 E President Ave. #B, Tupelo, MS.
