Mrs. Quay Pennington Nash passed away Sunday June 18, 2023 at her residence at the age of 94. She was born November 27, 1928 to the late Era V. Pennington and Lola Quay Elliott. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in West Point. She finished high school in Amory, then went to business school in Jackson. In 1949 she married Greely R. Nash and while he finished college in Pharmacy, she managed the College Book Store at Ole Miss. She retired from Rose Drug Company where she worked for 30 years. She enjoyed golfing and playing bridge with friends. Her favorite pastime was spending time on facebook.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday June 20, 2023 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. Kris Hollis officiating. Visitation will be 2-3 PM at Robinson funeral home. A private interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Hudson, Jacob Hudson, Jim Hudson, Steven Jones, Kylar Hudson, Carroll Ellis. Honorary pallbearers are Joey and Faye Michel, Keith White, Carolyn Jones, Andy Williams, Lauren Jenkins and Home Health Nurses.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Hudson (Gary); son Randy Ray Nash both of West Point; 6 grandchildren, Jason Hudson, Jim Hudson (Danielle), Jacob Hudson (Carla), Mary Catherine Jones (Steven), Sara Claire Nash, Chase Nash; 8 great grandchildren, Jaycee Lynn Hudson, Kolton Hudson, Kylar Hudson, Kay Lynn Hudson, Alexander Hudson, Liam Hudson, Conner Hudson, Madison Kate Jones; 2 special nieces, Becky Williams and Judy Thompson; nephew, Larry Kuykendall.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Greely Nash; her sister, Estyle Kuykendall.
