Hudgins of West Point passed away Wednesday April 6, 2011 at her residence at the age of 73. She was born on January 9, 1938 in Webb, MS to the late Ruby Lee Hendon and Vernon L. Hudgins. She was self employed in housekeeping and of the Baptist faith. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 9, 2011 at 2 PM at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Harris and Mr. Vernon Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8 PM Friday at Robinson Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Vernon Edwards, John Edwards, Clyde Edwards, Zachary Edwards, Shane Woods, and Jon Fugerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Bennett, Michael Garrett, Jesse Arellano, Dr. Qu, Dr. Lambert, Dr. Zachow, Peggy Chadwick, Annie Chandler, Debbie Hester, Mona Silcox, Ellis Poss, Diana & YoYo, residence of Beardmen Trailer Park in Pearl. She is survived by her son, Billy Durrett (Debbie) of West Point brother, Robert Earl Sumner of Trout, LA; sisters, Alice Edwards Oneal of West Point, Faye Faulkner of Brandon; brother in law, Gerl Johnson of Florence; grandson, Tim Alspaugh of Oklahoma City, OK; She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Ruby Tommie (Tinker) Johnson; a brother Byge Hudgins; and a nephew Vernon Hudgins.
