Robert Darsey

Robert Benjamin Darsey passed away on Thursday December 12, 2013 at NMMC-Tupelo at the age of 37. He was born February 18, 1976 in Natchez, MS to Robert and Mary Lou Darsey. He graduated from West Point High School and attended MS State University. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and owner of B & S Farms. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on Sunday December 15, 2013 at First United Methodist Church, West Point, MS with Rev. Jeff Shannon officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 to 2:30 PM at First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Jonas Robinson, Byron Prince, Chris Reed, Cecil Farrell, Brad Judson, Sam Marshall, Scott Marshall, Barnes Marshall. Honorary pallbearers are Brad Burgess, Chuck Caldwell, Emiley Malone, Jennifer Henry, Terri Myers, Andre Quinn. He is survived by his wife, Shonda Easterling Darsey of Cedar Bluff; son, Levin Alexander Darsey of Cedar Bluff; daughters, Mary Lynnon Darsey and Matilyn Loe (Mattie Belue) Darsey of Cedar Bluff; parents, Robert and Mary Lou Darsey of west Point; sister, Janna Murry (Brant) of West Point. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen and Maxine Hinshaw, Ben and Otis Darsey.
