Russell Rardin , 78, of Strong, Ms. passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle. He was born in Ashmore, IL on April 25, 1936 to the late Freda Baker and H.P. Rardin. He moved to Mississippi 40 years ago and he was a farmer. Mr. Rardin was a member of the Strong United Methodist Church and a veteran of the US Army. Services will be Monday February 23, 2015 at 10 AM at Strong United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Pallbearers will be Brad Judson , Russell Tait John Robert Wilbourne, Corey Ellis, Jason Smith, and Ance Lee Milican. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dr. J. Arthur Brown and the men at Strong United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-5 PM at Robinson Funeral Home. He is survived by his Wife Emily W. Rardin of Strong; son, Kevin Rardin (Ellen) of Germantown, Tn; daughter, Dana Tait (Michael) of Starkville; 2 Step-sons, Ken Wilbourne(Dawn) and Rob Wilbourne (Sherry) of West Point; a brother, Dean Rardin, Kansas, Il; 5 Grandchildren; Ashley Tait Smith(Jason), Rachel Tait Ellis(Corey), Russell Tait, Mary Clark Rardin, Madeline Rardin and a greatgrand-daughter, Carli Ellis. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his first wife Donna Barbee Rardin and 3 brothers, Max Rardin, Gerald Rardin and Pierce Rardin.
