Terry Lynn Kimbrel, (Tk), passed away March 18, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle at the age 60. He was born February 6, 1964 in Tupelo, MS to the late Martha Bell and Harold Russel Kimbrel.
He grew up and attended school in Mooresville, IN. He left the 11th grade and went to the Army. He left the military and was asked to help at the Job Corps there in IN. Afterwards he moved to West Point and got his GED. He got a job working on the river for six years. Then he started working at the Columbus Air Force Base. He worked there for 19 years and retired because of health reasons. He also did photography and woodworking. He joined the Progress St. Church of God in 2008. He married Maxcine in February, 2009. They later moved to GA, Al, KY and back to MS where they joined TTC of Columbus and moved to West Point as Fresh Church.
Terry Lynn Kimbrel is survived by his wife, Maxcine; one brother, Timothy of VA; two
daughters, Shantel (Joe) of Greensboro, Al, and Michelle (Darrel) of Wake Forest, NC; three stepsons, Joshua (Malisya), Shawn, and Cassie; three God daughters Shanettia (Mario) of West Point, Valeria (FiFi) of Snellville, GA
Gail (Charles) of Columbus, MS; six brothers-in-law, Willie Jr, George, and Donley of West Point, MS, Wardell (Correttia) of Baldwyn, MS, Jeremiah (Kimmie), and Sterling (Rita) of New Hope, MS; three sisters-in-law, MaryAnn of Tuscaloosa, Al, Marygail of West Point, Michelle of Columbus.
He also leaves behind 20 grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, Aunts, uncle, cousins, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his stepdad, Robert (Bob) Childress; his mother, Martha Childress; daughter Gwen.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Saturday March 30, 2023 at Robinson Funeral Home. Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
