Thomas Joseph Borgioli passed away Sunday December 10, 2017 at his residence in West Point at the age of 66. He was born October 2, 1951 in Bronx, New York to the late Josephine Tomanelli and Eugene Borgioli. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where he was a CCD Teacher. He was a school teacher and he coached High School Baseball and a Major League Baseball scout. After moving to West Point he coached youth league baseball and served as a substitute teacher and tutor.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 2 PM Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Channappa Reddy Basani officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home. The body will lie in state 1-2 PM Wednesday at the church. Serving as pallbearers will be Van Morris, Justin Thornton, Kevin Thornton, James Moore, Steve Mitchner, Jack Elliott. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Ed Miller, Dr. John Whitecar, Dr. Dan Bennett, Steve Tzerman, Andy Green, Harvey Rabinowitz.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Coggins Borgioli of Cedar Bluff; 2 sons, Thomas Joseph Borgioli and Dominic Anthony Borgioli both of Cedar Bluff; 2 brothers, Albert Borgioli (Mary Ann) of Franklin Square, NY, James Borgioli (Clair) of Morgan Hill, CA; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
