William Clois Stewart, Sr

William C. Stewart, Sr. passed away Tuesday October 17, 2017 at Starkville Manor at the age of 74. He was born November 9, 1942 in West Point to the late Ada Ward and Grover C. Stewart. He was a veteran of the US Navy. He worked as a carpenter for many years in both commercial and residential.

 Graveside Service will be held at 2 PM Thursday October 19, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Byron Davis officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Robert Smith, Kindred Hospice and other care givers, Dr. James Jones and Alice Jones.

He is survived by his friend and companion, Sandra Stewart of Starkville; sons, William Stewart, Jr. of Starkville, Richard Stewart (Debra) of West Point; brothers, Travis Stewart of West Point, Larry Stewart of CO; sister, Patricia Stewart of CO; 3 grandchildren, Alan Stewart (Kim), Krissy Stewart, Zach Edwards; 2 great grandsons, Drake and Ethan Stewart; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Grover Stewart, Donald Stewart.
