Obituary of Winston Riley Camp
Winston Riley Camp passed away Friday May 31, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle at the age of 88. He was born September 26, 1930 to the late Irene Riley and Daniel Anderson Camp. He was a welder for B&W for 30 years before retiring. He married Hazel Duke Camp on June 11, 1958. They were married for 60 years.
Funeral service will be 12 PM Monday June 3, 2019 at Robinson Chapel with Rev. RC Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Fulgham, RB Davis, Lamon Watson, Robbie Robinson, James Roberts, Ronnie Roberts, Doug Hogue. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Autrey, Jerry “Pee Wee” Wray, Dr. Ciro Rincon, Dr. Matthew Wade, all nurses on 4th floor West Staff, Dr. Bart Williams and Staff, Dr. Scott Bradley and staff, Dr. Wartak, Dr. Miller and Staff, Clay County Medical Center, the ER Doctors and staff and ICU Nurses, and all his neighbors on White Cove. Visitation will Monday 10AM-12 PM at Robinson Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife Hazel Duke Camp of West Point; son, Larry D Camp (Tina) of West Point; daughter, Martha Camp Harris of West Point; Brother:James Camp; grandchildren, Shanna Ferrell (Cecil), Daniel Taylor Camp, Kelsey Aaron Camp, Jordan Anderson Camp (Chloe), Daphanie Droney, Staphanie Harris; great grandchildren Hartleigh Jo Ferrell, Riley Creed Ferrell, Elliott Jude Camp, Mia Camille Camp, Sarah Droney, Christopher Droney, James Straw; several nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie Camp; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
